About The Project
This project involved the complete demolition of an existing out building, followed by the construction of a new, one bed property. After pouring the concrete pad, we built the structure in the traditional concrete block cavity wall style. We also fitted an RSJ steel to support one elevation of block work. A glulam beam and vaulted ceiling rafters were installed, the roof was then finished in Spanish slate.
uPVC windows and doors were fitted throughout.
The upper section was finished in Cedral cladding. A GRP fiberglass roof was formed to create a stylish balcony, accessible from the bedroom.
The interior was designed with an open-plan lay out, featuring an open staircase and a modern fitted kitchen. Laminate plank flooring was laid throughout. The shower room was finished with herringbone tiles and a built-in shelf within the shower cubicle, accented by a mosaic border.
